Paris is full of stunning architecture and picturesque corners with cafes. It makes for thousands of beautiful photo opportunities, but the hardest one of all is getting the iconic Eiffel Tower. Those who are dedicated to the early sunrise shot will have an abundance of places to shoot directly in front of the tower, but if your days are like ours and full of other activities you need to squeeze in a tight window then these are some locations know to the locals to shoot the Eiffel Tower. Here are our top three spots.

 

Location #3

Located not too far from the Tower itself. This superb location is down a very decadent residential street which also provides a good variety of cafes and restaurants.

Location #2

One of my favourite spots and on the other side of the river. It’s perfectly elevated and far enough away to get that shot of the Eiffel Tower in the distance. From the Eiffel Tower, it’s around a 20-minute walk to this dead end street with beautiful sandstone staircase at the end.

By now you’re over walking, so the next way to get a great shot that will separate you from all the basic tourist’s shots is to rent a boat down by the water’s edge and go for a light cruise until you get the Eiffel Tower in the background.
